How to smoothly import/edit C300 MXF files in FCP X without rendering

The EOS C300 is Canon’s first foray into digital cinema. It utilize MPEG-2, 4:2:2, 50Mbps codec with MXF(OP-1a) recording format. 4:2:2 colour sampling provides twice the vertical colour resolution of 4:2:0 enabling better gradation, finer detail, and smoother diagonals as well as helping to eliminate the threat of jagged edges, fringing and unwanted artefacts during chroma keying.
Someone want to import Canon C300 MXF files into Final Cut Pro for editing, but FCP doesn’t support importing MXF files directly.and As far as we know, the perfectly supported codec for FCP is Apple ProRes, so you need to convert C300 1080i MXF files to ProRes before you ingest the 1080i mxf files to FCP.
