For Music Sony Ericsson is best choice. Even N73 is also a good option according to your need.

I agree with Alana! If your after a music phone stick with Sony Ericsson. Their 'Walkman' range is very good. Their W980 is their flagship at the present moment in time but they also have some entry level handsets which are cheaper such as the W350i and W380i.

Sony Ericsson do offer the greater range of music handsets though!

Hope that helps

I only prefer Nokia mobiles.

The Nokia 5700 Xpress Music offers a user-friendly design, an impressive array of features, and admirable call and music quality.

Both are nice, but when it comes to music sonny ericson works better. You can save more music and photos.

The Xperia X1 is a great phone.

It certainly bodes well for Sony Ericsson's upcoming Idou phone.

The only thing is in such times as recession there are cut backs with people losing their jobs even at big companies like Sony Ericsson and Nokia.

This inevitably will mean a slow down in quality handsets and possibly even poorer quality. I hope not but it looks likely.

We are likely to see rehashed versions of the same phones with slight tweaks more and more over the next few years.

That said I would edge my bets you will be looking at the iphone 4g = a rehashed /tweaked version of the iphone 3g..... lol
