6 . Group-based policy admin Where there are lots of users in an organisation, it makes sense to lump settings into groups, for example sales people, field workers and senior execs. RIM says that the BlackBerry is about more than just email these days, but other applications too. It might be necessary to push information out to particular groups relevant to one or other of these applications. Within groups, individual policies can be adjusted further.
