to my knowledge no but i found out when i got my curve 8900 model that keeping the blackberry in it's leather pouch all the time can decrease the battery life reason for that i was told is due to a build up off heat

No, putting the phone in the case puts it in standby which saves battery. Don't keep apps running when your not using them and that will help.

Thats a great phone. But I have to say.not my favorite. The Palm phones are really nice. If ur looking for a blackberry like phone they have many nicer options in my opinion. Touch screen too I have a palm phone.

Yep! you can buy one that has longer life (try EBay) but they don't give you the usability you would normally expect. My Bold (less than 6 months old) will stay alive for around 24 hours max if I am kind to it. I've been told the screen is one of the causes and must say that by turning the brightness down to 50% you can get 6 more hours Bob |
