http://cbfsms.com comes in pretty useful when your out of credit and need to text someone

It also does free ringtones..

Does anybody have any other good sites?

It's too bad the free text messaging is only for the UK, but that's really awesome! I'd love for Canada to have something like that.

Well, I sent a text to a friend, and it looks like it worked. I don't like all the advertising on the site, but I guess they have to pay their bills somehow. I'll let you guys know later today if it got through or not

I've not tried it yet - will do it soon. Typical, I've not had credit on my phone for about 2 months - not being able to text. I topped up the other day, and NOW I come across a free text website. Typical!!!!!!

I have never tried text messaging but I hear it is pretty cool. How much typically are you paying for it? Do you pay like a package deal the same way do you do minutes for airtime? or is it just based an amount per text sent?
