I have Pac Man on my phone where the top players in the network everyday win gift certificates. Do any of you guys play cell phone games for prizes?

Not really.. are you sure they give out prizes? Some times the competitions say they do, but don't, or rig it so you can never win the prize.

Verizon is the network i have. I have never won, so Im not sure it happens. the prizes are things like $10 barnes and noble gift certificates and $5 at McDonalds. I cant imagine thats worth rigging.

I think its contracted out my an independent company. I discovered it when I was looking for games to buy for my phone. they have lots of options though....one day I will win!!!!!!!!!!!

You never know, they might. I really would like to try these games that you play for cash. It would seem alluring to play for real money, but then there's always hidden fees and thingies so you might not get money at all.

I was in the top 10 one day, unfortunatly only the top 3 actually win prizes> i thinks its just a way to sucker you into continuing to pay for the game :P

There's always a catch. Played Tetris today, beat the "cut line" score, now I'm waiting for $2.50 credit on my phone I doubt it'll come, probably be cut out by taxes and stuff. Game companies can't really afford to hand out lots of prizes per day.
