Yeeeeeeeeeeeah. You really can't take things from your phone to DVD. Someone else (or maybe you) was asking about video yesterday. It just doesnt work like that.

Can't you transfer it to your computer...convert it to something else and burn it to a DVD? Wouldn't that work?

That would work, wouldn't it? There's nothing to say that it wouldn't, that's why theres a cable, but then your phone has really little space, so phone to computer is okay, but computer to phone..just careful.

I do it all the time, phone to pc and pc to phone, convert and rebatch ITS NOT HARD
do a search for a program called "ImTOO MPEG Encoder". IT converts just about everything video. If it cant do it then there will be another ImTOO product that will. I get about 30 min of dvd converted to 3gpp on my 32meg card in my nokia 6255. If i had a 128 card i could get a 2 hour movie on there

Okay this is going to sound dumb but what exactly is an MP4? I am familiar with MP3's. Are they just a better quality MP3? Sorry but I have never heard of it before. I don't have capabilities to listen to mp3's on my phone but I was hoping to get a new one soon. Maybe I need one for mp4's?

Mp4 is like a Mp3 but video and sound instead of just sound. it uses a compresion standard that makes the video file much smaller than if it were avi or divx, but keeps alot of the quality

Okay, thanks so much for explaining that to me. It's amazing how they make things so small these days yet they have the same quality or better. I think my next phone I will look for mp4. Sounds really cool.

Oh really? so how does that work? You just download the converter to your phone and you will be able to view and listen to files in mp4 format? I think I might take a closer look at that. Thanks.

I am not sure exactly how they work, my phone doesn't accept any downloads at all. Or at least I don't think it does, but I never read the indtructions either...lol
