Read your Voicemail!?
Has anyone tried this new service SimulScribe?
SimulScribe (www.simulscribe.com) literally makes dialing in and listening to voicemail obsolete. The service works by converting your voicemail (using a combination of voice recognition technologies) into text and delivering it as an email.
SimulScribe users receive their voicemail as a text email with an attached .wav file of the voicemail just in case they want to hear what was said or the tone of what was said.
The service has an online component for managing voicemail that enables users to delete messages just as they would using a Hotmail account. They can delete all their voicemail with one click of a mouse. This means no more dialing in and hitting "7" over and over to delete messages ( doesn't that drive you crazy!) AND, there is no limit on SimulScribe voicemail boxes so users never have their callers hear: "Sorry the mailbox is full". SimulScribe users still have an option to dial in and listen to messages the old way if they are still inclined to do so.
The service is free for one week and then $.25 cents per message thereafter.
