Anybody make thier own tones?

I make my own wallpapers all the time. But i'm having the dangdest time doing my own rings. I have a mp3 splitter so i'm able to split songs into short ringtone segments, its converting them to midi, anyone know how to do that or software that does that? Thanks

P.S. Got to text message myself tones so teh download on the web ones dont work for me.

I've tried to make my own ringtones before. I have failed miserably though. When I tried this, it never sent to my phone, so I didn't bother anymore. I will probably try this again when I get a new phone. I have had my eye on the RAZR for awhile now...

I am looking forward to such information too.

How do you create wallpapers for the mobilephones?

Tried it once, but the GF at the time thought my phone had got damaged when I played it to her!! First and last time I tried, I'm sticking to the day job now

I've made my own for a while, but it consists of cutting .mp3s down to the parts I want to be played and/or recording music.

I haven't, but I thought about it. I just am not very musically inclined, it is highly likely it will sound like a train wreck.

I bought a Razr v3 with Verizon. I sure like this phone but, I was curious the best way to make my own ringtones?

I tried myself by putting phone near speaker it was ok but, nothing great. I do not have net access or usb cord.

I've made a few. Just by using the sound recorder on my phone. They come out quite nice.

my phone plays mp3's so i dont need to lol i can create any tone and even adverts and from dvds etc if any1 wants any then pm me
