Note : Please do not post your IMEI Serial Number. You dont want anyone with the capability to clone your number.

Unlocking codes are available thro the network that the fone is on. You have to be a customer with them. The contract must be up or at least 3 months up on a payg term. Expect to pay an admin fee of £15-£30 pounds sterling.

Alternatively your local market trader can unlock most handsets, with the Nokia 6230i being on the shelves for a while now it shouldnt be an issue.

Their are scores if sites and well known auction sites with sellers selling cd's,cables and codes for handsets. Most fones have 3-4 unlock codes so its not always the 1st one supplied that unlocks the handset. Be wary ! !
