Do you use your camera for backgrounds, or do you download them?

I used to download various backgrounds and load them onto my phone, but lately I've found it's more fun to use pictures of me or my friends that I've taken. I guess it would also help if I lost my phone one day.

Since I got my camera phone, I only use pictures of family and friends as backgrounds. I always try to set it to an interesting picture so when I use my phone I can have a laugh or a good thought. I try to change it often too. Backgrounds that come with the phone are pretty boring.

Family and friends pictures are definitely the only way to go. Who wants a downloaded background when pictures you take yourself are so much more personal.

I have downloaded a lot of backgrounds, hmm transferred from my friend's cell.
Well, they are kinda cool.
All of them rocks. Some of my friends put their pics which they take from their cameras. I find that idea gross because my pics dont come good.

I've done both. You can actually download some really great backgrounds, and my photography skills leave much to be desired. I have the tendancy to cut off the top of people's heads.

Well I am planning on getting a new phone and it will be my first camera phone. I think I will probably use the pictures I take as backgrounds. I never usually like the ones that come with the phone. Although, I guess if I found a cool one to download, I might do that. But I would think that using the pictures would be easier.

I use pictures I have taken of my kids or my b/f, gives it your own personal touch.

Well you obviously just haven't seen my friends and family...I think the background pictures are less scary...and bring me greater peace of mind

When I used my camera phone, I experimented alot with my background. Now, it shows my friends.
