Text Messaging Hazardous to your Health?

A while back, I had read an article on CNN discussing the injuries seen in the UK from text messaging. I can't find the article in CNN archives but I guess there is a high incidence of sprained fingers and carpal tunnel syndrome. Now I have heard text messaging is big in the UK and in the US, but it really hasn't hit Canada yet. Now I have read some of you are from UK, what do you think about this? Are people really that into it?

Yeah, that's crazy! I'd have thought it would have happened more with the development and popularity of computers.

I think it's crap. You'd have to be one serious tex freak to get that, just like you would be to use a PC all day I think.

wow, that is pretty crazy. I couldn't even imagine text messaging that much. To be honest, I don't really like it because the key pad is so small, not to mention the screen. If I want to chat text-like with friends I will use MSN where I have a nice big keyboard and screen.

Carpel tunnel from text messaging? Wow! You would have to be doing that at least 6 hours a day every day! I don't use the text messaging that much, I prefer to call.
