Buying a smart phone

Hi

I'm looking for advice on buying a new mobile. I am now retired so having data is not required. What I am looking for is: A quad band that will work in the US, UK & France, at least 16GB memory, 32 if possible, at least 5 megapixel camera, 8 if possible, and bluetooth.

Basically, I want to use the device as a phone, but also to store all my music on [and some photos], so I will want a phone that will connect to a docking station with speakers to listen to music when at home. I have therefore discounted another blackberry because it I cannot buy a docking station for it.

Question

Hi,

I'm also looking to buy a smartphone (or PDA phone).

Currently I use both a PDA and a mobile phone and want to move over to one device only. I use the phone rarely other than for texts. The main requirement for me would be having a decent calendar appointments function that will syncronise with outlook 2007. I've tried a Galaxy Y and although it sync'd, the recurring events didn't sync so well. If they were weekly, monthly or yearly, they did. Those that were for less usual interval i.e. three weekly or five weekly, didn't.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Hi,

I've done the research and decided upon a blackberry curve 9380. I'll check now for the best purchase price (don't want a contract) and go ahead with it.

I will suggest Samsung galaxy s3 which is the best android smartphone and also it has the latest Jelly Bean updates and all the fully loaded features for the users.
