motorokr ringtones

i have had my phone since christmas this year... and i have seen threads about putting mp3s onto your phone for a ringtone.. so i know how to add the song, but theres not option of how to make it a ringtone. does anyone know how or if you can?

also, i was wondering just how you buy ringtones, what site is the best.. i want a safe site
