Help needed!

Hello people, what it is a friend of mine has got a Samsung G600 phone on O2 PAYG. Also got an AOL account, and what he wants to do is set up phone to receive and send emails from that account. He has tried to enter settings correctly, but no joy. The best the web has done is confuse him even further.
Any of you good people able to offer any advice?
Thankyou in advance.

02 can send these settings via a text message. You just save and activate.

cheers for the input mate but pretty sure that's WAP settings you're on about there mate, and it's email settings I'm after to access my AOL email account by mobile. Unless you know different that is, in which case I'd be glad for any pointers. Thanks again for the input.

I basically searched for bt yahoo on opera mini and downloaded the software to check my e mails. This software downloaded into my sms text messaging menu as bt yahoo and shows offline until i connect it, and i also saved it as bookmark in my webb settings.

Smile

1st check with the AOL home page to see if their is a link to follow to allow mobile access. Look in the mail option, ie the place to read your incoming e mails. Look for something saying " mobile mail".

I cannot access this myself as im not signed up with them.

When I clicked on mobile mail in mine {im on btyahoo}, a pop up box opened up asking for my mobile number etc, which then sent me the link to my cellfone.

2nd if no joy connect to gprs/wap and instigate a search for a download to access aol e mail.

3rd if no joy speak to AOL for advice on how you can get the settings your wanting to allow remote/mobile access to your e mail.

Re post if I can help any further and Good luck fella.
