Porting to vodafone (pain I have)
I have taken a new contract from vodafone, I wanted to port my original (orange) number to vodafone. I provided them with the PAC code but I am told by the customer services that I cant do it because I am out of my 1st 14 days of the contract and the new vodafone number has been assinged/fixed to my account and they cant port in my original number.
Please help if you know any solution or if anyone works with vodafone and willing to help, please contact me.
Any help will be appreciated. My original number is really important for me, I have been using that for 5 years now and I can not afford to loose it.
Your PAC code is only valid for 30 calendar days.
Transferring your existing number takes around two working days from when you provide your network with your PAC code.
Providers such as 02 and Vodafone require your PAC code at the point of connection. If you dont then they may not be able to action the transfers.
