picture messages on bill not sent by me

im a new pay monthly customer with virgin mobile.
i'v got 10 entries on my bill, indicating that 10 picture messages were sent from my phone(sim)
i have never sent a picture message in my life, and @ 30 pence a shot woudn't want to, i send my pics from my standalone camera to my family by e mail.
virgins stance seems to be well if weeve logged them on our systems as comming from youre phone then it black &white they must of, or did someone else have access to youre phone.
they say that unlike txt messages they cannot logg the recipients number as part of the delivery goes throught the internet which is external from there network, so they cant even tel me where i supposidley sent thease picture messages.
anyone had any similar problems?
i'm on my 28 days change youre mind policy terms/conditions, so im not of to a good start with this happening.
i'm not at all bothered about£3.00 for 10 pic messages its the principal that i did not send them, and should not have to pay for them.
its not as though you can accidently send a picture message its a 3) stage proccess, select pic file, select recipent, then select send.
any advice

Hi Anthony,

I am also on contract with Virgin Mobile and have not encountered this issue. Like you if I had ,then even tho its a small amount of money , one still wants to know why this occured.

You dont mention which fone you are using so i'll explain generally how you can check if mms messages have been sent.

Example of Nokia Handset.
Your handset may vary but it may generally be the same.

On your mobile handset,

Menu
Log.
Message log.

Look for something like 'sent mms msgs'.

This should give you a count of how many has been sent, unless someone has cleared the counters !

Also look at your 'sent messages' as the details of the message will show if its a mms type message.

Obviously if this continues the following bill then you need to look seriously at the handset either been used without your permission or the handset software needs looking at, as sometimes the handset sends ghost texts/mms by itself. Very rare tho.

thank you very much indeed for taking time to read my post, and reply.
I am pleased to report the problem has been resolved.
any advice for anyone else is if you have a query similar to mine and virgin accounts may or may not be sympathetic , depends on who you get on the other end of the phone.
I went into my local virgin shop where I took out the contract, and deliberately went to the assistant who I first dealt with and who sold me my phone , contract ect, she was on my side straight away and very sympathetic,she looked @ the phone at logs, I hadn't reset them, this would have gone against me if I had done, but what really saved me was the online bill,we logged in together at the till point, and she looked through my bill,and spotted something I hadn't which gave more weight to my argument , and the evidence was there amongst 10 entries, 4 were timed at the same minute,the asst rang virgin and had a few words with customer services, then I spoke with them, they hummed and harred a tad, saying maybe you used a template?by mistake? nope I didn't, I said you cant accidentally send 10 pic messages,its loosely a 3 step process requiring user input confirmation at every step, 1)select pic, 2)recipient)send.
they accepted my argument and agreed to take the £3.00 of my April bill as a credit.as the march one had already been created.
yes this post is long winded,but allot of what is contained here will stand users in good stead for dealing with virgin,any quires similar go to the local shop where you took the contract out, deal withy the asst who served you,if possible depending on how long you've had the phone, it sounds better and is better received when a call to there customer services accounts ect comes from a member of virgin staff.
