Selling an unwanted iPhone 4s upgrade with Orange
I am new to this forum but thought it would be a good place to seek some advice.
Currently I am in the 22nd month of a 24 month contract with Orange. I was contacted over the weekend about upgrading early, something which I have been thinking about for a while. They offered me an upgrade to one of the iPhone packages with a 16gb 4s as my new handset.
What I want to do is sell this new iPhone as an unwanted upgrade but I do not know if there are any problems with me doing this? Currently I have a pretty basic Nokia which I use at a line rental of £25 a month. The upgrade would mean moving to a new line rental of £36 a month. If I sell the new iPhone on ebay as an unwanted upgrade, locked to Orange, can I simply carry on using my old phone and SIM card at the new £36 a month?
I guess I don't want to cause any problems for the buyer, but nor for myself! The new phone would obviously come with a different SIM card so I wouldn't know what to do with it!
Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!
