Cannot top-up new SIM - Desperate
Due to Covid-19, I have to work from home. I paid £20.99 online for an EE/T-Mobile top-up on a brand new SIM card, my work covered the costs but itís my responsibility to set it all up.
I put the EE/T-Mobile SIM into my Samsung PAYG phone and followed instructions on how to top-up - the message I received back on the phone was that I could not text the top-up code because the balance on the phone is zero.
So, I can't top up because there is no money on my phone and there is no money on my phone because I cannot top-up.
Also, when I try to phone this new number I get a message saying 'the phone you have called is currently unavailable' so, it appears the SIM hasn't been activated. How do I do that?
All advice is welcome. I'm desperate to keep my job.

Usually the sim card is activated through the top up process.
I'd suggest to contact the network via Twitter or Facebook or their Live Chat facility.

I didn't think of Facebook which shall try right now. Live chat didn't even reply.
