hi there,

i am looking to get a phone where emails are very important. most of my colleagues use a blackberry but i really would like an I Phone but could anyone tell me whether the email on the i phone comes through as soon as one is sent to you or whether you have to log in to see if you have had any.

cheers

A red bubble indicator with the number of unread e mails appears ontop of the mail icon.

I hooked mine up with my gmail account. It checks often and notifies you. Like Lee says there is a alert as to when they arrive. I like the iPhone. Ive had it since it was out now and certainly does the job.

I've heard a lot of good things about iphones and they said it's nice when it comes to internet email.

I agree

Its just a shame some platforms are not supported in order to view all of the internet pages as you can on a desktop/laptop.

There is also an app from Google to check your email.

But the inbuilt email app from apple is very good indeed.
