Hi,

I believe you can only mass delete by using i tunes.

You can mass delete by re-synching ‘Contacts’ in the ‘Advanced’ section of the Info tab in iTunes. Select Contacts under the ‘Replace information on this iPhone’, click Apply and re-sync.

I'm not familiar in deleting contacts by mass through IPhone, but definitely I predict that you can delete them using ITunes as one of the methods.

My suggestion would be the same.
Use iTunes. It will work.

Well, somehow it does not work.

Hi,

i just picked up my 3gs and after moving all my contact to the iPhone (from a Nokia), I ended up with double entries, so I did the sync with all 4 boxes ticked in Info|Advanc. It runs for a short while and after all is the same. Still two copies of each entry. I did check my Address Book on my Imac and here I only have one entry. But here I also have a Last Import, so maybe the sync moves both .... wonder what is going on.
