Unlocking iPhone

Hi guys, im new to this forum so go easy on me!

my sony ericsson w810i died on saturday after 3 years of impeccable service and i now have an iphone. Trouble is im on orange and so need to unlock it.

I was wondering if you could recommend the best unlocking software, for an iphone that has been updated to version 3. I dont want one that messes with it too much.

Also after it has been unlocked can you still update it?

Thanks in advance,

Your gonna find this a long winded ardious journey to unlock this device.

Its settings are all geared to use 02 in the uk and a t & t in america.

There is software on the market to unlock the iphone, but please be careful and check out the options fully before parting with your cash. I would visit a standalone highstreet shop or local market trader to unlock the device as a first option. After doing this you will need to be wary when hooking upto itunes as any software update downloaded will revert the handset back to being locked.

The fone has to be registered on i tunes for apps etc.

You may have to wait a while before jailbreaking the device as version 3 is the most recent platform.

Ensure your network has supplied a data bundle if you are going to use the full internet option.

Getting an unlocked iPhone will allow you to use it on T-Mobile, where you can get a $5.99 unlimited data plan, as opposed to the $20 unlimited data on AT&T. An unlocked phone only means that you can use a SIM card from any wireless carrier, and it will work.

Informative!! there are many software available to unlock iphone and i unlocked it by remote unlocking..there are many online providers who provide the service..one of my friend got unlocked his iphone from Theunlockspot by remote unlock..and the important thing remote unlocking is available for some country and network providers only so if you are interested you can try from them before that see whether remote unlocking is available for your country and provider..

There are many options available to unlock iPhone on internet. I want to say you that you should not use any unlocking software to unlock iPhone, but you should go to iPhone service centre and show them your phone. Because some times this type of software damage your phone and it becomes waste.
