feline is a noob

I have just been browsing through th post on the forum and I have come accross a user with the name of feline, which is great more people in the forum however feline is a noob all of the posts that have been submitted are not only useless but very very pointless.

Come on feline post somethink that will help the people who have originally posted instead of giving useless and pointless comments.....

Is there a point to this? Was this post necessary? A half dozen posts to your nick and you're slamming other posters?

Maybe you point is valid however in my previous post they contain information to actually answer the question that has been asked however there is so many people who just post stupid comments (feline) that are no use what so ever, being new to this forum I still do not understand why people use it they post a question get anywhere between 2-10 pointless comments and never actually get an answer!!!!!

This does not do the forum any use and hence why it is not as popular as it should be if you look at other forums such as xda-developers - Xda-developers they are crammed full of technical information and most importantly a question is asked (take this as an example) it gets answered!!!! how novel!!!!!

Get of your high horse and take the time to check through this forum and you will see what I mean or are you one of the people you adds the two pennies worth without actually being useful and helping the original poster.

This forum blows (probably get kicked for this) but forgive me for saying this isn't this forum designed to provide help and support and answer questions that forum members post when they are in need of help from more experienced and knowledgable users all they get is dumb ass comments.

Thank you for capitalizing on me and taking me as a subject of your thread. I really appreciate your taking the time to start a thread and publicizing my being a noob to this forum. True, I am not like most of you here who are from the US, UK and whatever country and I find your posts very much catered to your own points of residence. However, I DON'T BELIEVE THAT IF WE'RE TALKING ABOUT MOBILE PHONES, THERE IS SUCH A PERSON WHO IS REALLY A COMPLETE NOOB TO THIS! Even if I come from Asia, I would like to tell you that our country is THE TEXTING CAPITAL OF ASIA and that proves that WE ARE NOT REALLY NOOBS TO THIS MOBILE PHONE THING! If we are going to talk about cellphones and providers in our country, you will find yourself the one that is a noob and not me. Well, you could start by having a chat with Mr. Frogerson about his deportment. He may be an expert but that isn't to say there isn't room for the opinions of others.

Wow. How unnecessary. Everyone who posts here should be valued for whatever they offer.

Can we get a way to report or flag spam posts and troll activity? There's a terribly offensive thread in Mobile Phones that would prevent me from posting a question if I were a lurker. As a forum owner and admin myself, I understand how difficult it can be to read every post, so a means of community policing would be wonderful.

Towards the top right of each post is a little warning sign. If you click that you can 'report' a post to me.

Another quick thought, though I won't justify the senseless bickering beforehand with a comment.

Perhaps you could set up a category where people can post phones and/or accessories that they have for sale or that they want to buy? It seems I'm running across more and more classified type listings in every category. It just makes it harder to find what you're looking for.

I'm trying to police the people who come here solely to post advertising messages. At the moment these are against our rules. In the future we may well add a section like you suggested, but for the moment, it's best to keep the forum sale-free.

Keeping out the 'for sale' spammers is a huge effort on most forums these days ...sometimes I even wonder if they ever see sales back from any of their effort. I know I wouldn't bother even looking at their sites.
