Spam

Does anyone here get spam email? I've been getting lately for the first time in like five years. Spam has gotten really poetic.

Look at the subject titles of some of the spam I get:

"ate perversion", "folksy eager", "gambit hardly", "casualness"

I receive a great deal of spam. That's why I have email accounts that I don't use to sign up with on sites. They remain spam free.

I love the ones offering me Viagra and penile extensions.

my husband is not amused.

i don't get any sensical ones at all.
mine are all weird ramblings.
i don't get it.

I get a ton of it and I hate all of it. I hate that I can not get it to stop I often just change my email about once a year to get away from it.

I read a newspaper article yesterday about a local fellow here who suddenly got an enormous cell phone bill. Seems he'd been getting text messages from some sports outfit which he didn't subscribe to ..they just started coming in. Well, he was charged about $5 per message and he's fighting it! I would too!

just since last night i got three new ones.

"unplugged celibacy", "solicitor hardline" and "impaired battlefield" - i know that i should be annoyed but they are so cute. and the names of who they are from! "desmond ho", "odette kinney", and "rowland eldridge" - adorable. i can't take it.

I receive Viagra spam mail the most. Spam annoys me, greatly.

I get about 30 spam emails a day in my email. I just hate it. I have gmail and it has pretty good spam blocking. So far I am impressed.

I bet I get 100 spam messages a day. Problems arise when you start posting your email address online. Im not sure how they find it, but post an email address and everyone and their mother will be sending you crap in the mail.

AOL's spam filter is pretty good, but it's easier to delete spam online than with text messages! Those are the ones I really hate.

I dig that gmail puts my spam right into a lovely little folder that I can ignore if I feel like it. Very soothing.

So true. I like Spam. The food. It's a Hawaiian thing.

Wasn't there a plan afoot to create the same sort of 'do not call' list for emails that we have for phones? I hope it's still around!

ah, they'll still get through - charities can still call you at phone and get around the "no call" list; they'll get you through the phones as well!
