Green Day's a good one, but I admit that I like Counting Crows and the Japanese V.K. artist, Miyavi.

I really like offspring but not much of their newer stuff. I am more a fan of their older music but I also like NOFX and MxPx.

Pearl Jam.
Green Day ranks high as a fave among everyone in the house and I sometimes take my oldest to see a local Green Day cover band.
Weird Al is also highly rated around here.

Green Day is good. Pearl Jam is good. Modest Mouse. Some bands I have not heard of and will have to check out.

I'm a fan of U2, Keb' Mo', BB King, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, MC Solaar. Just to name a few. Yeah, I enjoy a wide variety of music.
