Obscure Films

So I often see people listen big-budget movies when answering the question "What is your favorite film", so. Here is my question. What is the most obscure, indie movie that you love? It doesn't have to be your favorite movie of all time, but just something you really enjoyed that isn't a mainstream big-budget release.

I will say for mine: "Twin Falls Idaho" about Siamese Twin Brothers trying to find their birth mom.

"Grosse Point Blank" with John Cusack before he hit it big - absolutely hysterical film about a hit man going home for his high school reunion!

I try to watch as many foreign language films as I can ...they're obscure more the most part in the U.S. and you see some great stories. No one gets into special effects like Hollywood, so they are much more story dependent and often really good.

Atanarjuat: Legend of a Runner. It was made by Inuit actors and an Inuit company, in Inuit with English subtitles and is based on an Inuit legend. Very different and really good.

that sounds great - is it out on video?

I also like Project Grizzly - about a fellow who wants to be attacked by a grizzly so he can test his defense suit... it's just wacky!
