I would like to get honest reasons why you people like to post in forums

Who wants to start?

I like to just chat with the community personally. Sometimes I will get some great news on something that I am interested in. But, one forum I go to is to trade items for a game that I play.

Basically, i post at forums only which i am interested at or doing a job!

Because I work from home so am alone most of the time. Posting in forums gives me a virtual community to chat to and share ideas with - it also helps to pass the time when I'm stuck for inspiration.

I post to find out new information that I didn't know before. I find its often easier and quicker to learn something by asking other people rather than spending time reading a tutorial or a review website or book.

Thanks very much to all those who replied in this thread. You have said for me all my reasons for posting in forums, me, too am stucked at home doing some online jobs and when I get tired and bored with being alone, forums help me up, inspire me and most of all, they inform me of many things that I don't know at all. When I post in forums that I am not familiar, it seems that it is a way of getting out of my comfort zone... being able to see the other part of the world and being able to understand and dwell on another realization.
