What a great idea this board is!

My husband came home the other day and told me about this study he'd read about which discovered that an obscene number of mobile phone users actively dislike their service carriers. It didn't matter what network they were on. This huge percentage of those surveyed were dissatisfied with their network, their reception, their customer service, the whole she-bang.

As for me, I totally love Working Assets. I love everything about them from the philosophy on up. But typically I have to deal with Sprint because it's their phone and their network. And while I have very few specific complaints, they haven't wowed me much. They don't seem to go too far off script to help me out. My husband has the T-Mobile Sidekick, which he loves as a device, but the amount of run-around he's had from customer service is silly. He used to be on Verizon, and they were awful. Voice messages got lost; he couldn't get reliable service in an apartment in Las Vegas for crying out loud; yuck! And what is with cell phone stores where you have to take a number and wait in line just to buy a universal hands-free accessory?!

Something is very definitely wrong with the industry. Maybe it's just the logical end of the free market spectrum: when there is no "good" alternative, people put up with all sorts of stuff.

Anyway, though, seems to me that if everyone thinks their mobile phone customer service is yucky, it might be an extremely useful thing to get together in one big forum and compare notes. So glad to have this opportunity to, er, "vent," and maybe learn from everyone.

hi, i hv one SED v630 but cant access pic msg menues, please help

wd u kindly help me regarding my korean sed v630 mobile. i am unable to access the pic msg. MMS, email,web etc menues. for loading of GPRS i hv contacted to my provider but they failed to send the settings as this phone is not in thier list neither its IMEI no. is there.
