Depends on what country you live in, but you usually get assigned a pre paid number and can't keep an old one ..to my knowledge.

Actually I have transferred a phone number to a prepaid phone in the US before, so it can be done. Just talk to your new carrier.

I think companies are actually required by law to allow you to switch your number when you switch from prepaid to contract plans.

1. I would appreciate anybody who knows about 2g and 3g?
2. In our place, numbers for prepaid and post-paid cards are different.
3. There is a rate for each text, picture and other stuff and it will be deducted to your prepaid account balance.

The only difference between a 2g and a 3g I think is that the 3g is bigger. Let me know what you find out, though.

Hola all,

I am interested in what pre paid provider that any of you are using, as well as if they provide services in the United States.

Go Easy,
