TracFone
Has anyone here besides myself ever used TracFone?
I used them a while ago and I hated it becasue I was afraid to use my phone because I thought I would run out of minutes and then I always had to buy a card every 60 days when I would still have hundreds of units "minutes" left. |

I've actually never heard of TracFone. Do they still exist, or did they get swallowed by a merger?

They are still around if you want to check them out just go to their site Tracfone.com.
They are not to popular today because it is cheaper to just get a real phone plan. |

It sounds like a "Pay as you go" plan. Why did you have to buy minutes every 60 days? Is that part of the plan?

If you want to go prepaid try using Net10. 10 cents no matter what.

I checked out Net10 and they seem pretty cool and reliable. $.10 per minute isn't bad.

And there's no hidden fees or access fees.

60 days is terrible! Whenever I get "pay as you go" it's always been that I have to use my card within 180 days of first using it. 6 months!!

When I first had my cellphone, it was prepaid. I rarely used my phone, but when my cycle neared, I would use them all up.
