Dialing "star hash 105 hash"

Hi im hopeing someone here can help me on this one, if you dial *#105# from your mobile phone you get a message back which inclued 2 times and dated,, do anyone know what this is,,?? im not sure if this works on all networks,, im on vodaphone,, i have been told its someone scanning ya phone but would like to know if its true..

I know that there are various star hash combinations on vodas but I don't know that one ...anyone else???

I don't have a voda so I can't verify this one, but if you think it's someone scanning your phone why would you want to even try it? I'm confused.

Never heard of it. I did some Googling and couldn't find anything on it.

Do you know if it's like one of those time and weather services like people used to use before cable and the internet?

ok sorry, i mean scanned,, and i didnt think or didnt no if anyone has scanned my phone, a friend of mine said thats how you can find out if anyone (or i think he was meaning the police) has scaned ya phone for info about calls n txt's,
not that I have anything to worry about but would like to find out if it is true. if it is true wouldnt you like to know who and why..

hi, this is a diagnostic command used by vodafone in sorting problems with, for example, dropped calls or failed text messages. The name is that of the mast your phone connected to, and the top date is the last time your phone registered itself with the network when you switched it on. Hope this helps answer your question. There are various *#....# commands, some unique to specific networks. For example, an industry standard, *#06#, shows you the IMEI number of your phone.
