(I hate when I hit the wrong button and delete my posts lol)
I had a cricket phone when they first came out and, for the time, they were excellent. I never really had much problem (other than with the neon green rubber case mine was sleeved in) with the company. It was hard to get living breathing people on the phone to help with technical problems but, aside from that, they were alright. |

Is Cricket name of some carrier or are you talking about my favorite sport?

Hehe Cricket is the name of a carrier. We had them when I lived up in Michigan. Basically, for $29.95, you too, could have your own handy dandy mobile phone with a limited calling range and the ability to text and play a couple of simple games. It came in very handy and was especially popular in the poor parts of town, where people didn't have phones. They required no credit check, downpayment or contract. If you paid for the phone, this month, you had a phone... if you were late, you didn't have a phone until you paid the bill again. It came in handy.

I thought the deal was really weak for what the service gave. My aunt in Michigan used them for a while, and it seemed she was getting quite ripped off.
