Man, i loved Pagers for the longest. Everyone had em, and the cats pajama's was having a pager and voice mail, man i thought that was it!

Yep lol. Pagers were "da bomb!" My husband had a pager and I had one.... When they were on vibrate and would go off, they scared the daylights out of me! Hehe yep. Loved them.

Used to always wonder why someone would need a big clunky car phone when they could just get a nice lil pager LOL!

Pagers the hottest thing out.. I remember my cousin had two and I was so jealous because I didn't have even one. Now, with cell phones, pagers seem so obsolete.

I never had a pager. But I remember when it was all the craze back then. Sometimes they were annoying.

I got myself a pager sometime in 1992 cos it was cool to have one - no-one EVER paged me on it (LOL!) but it was still cool to have.

I have grown up since then....

I had a pager last year because my friend didn't need her old one anymore. People paged me all the time and it stressed me out so I got rid of it. Cause they page and you gotta run around finding a phone and whatever, blah. No.

I wanted to have one, but never got one, because I didn't see the purpose. For an average person, it's only useful for emergencies.

Just recalled reading somewhere that some of the emergency services in the UK had to be issues with pagers after the terrorist attack in London on 7th July last year because... their cellphones didn't work on the day due to network congestion. So pagers still have a use somewhere...

I found a pager once when I was on a school's football field. I kept it for a little bit deciding on whether I wanted to use it or not. I just thought to throw it away because no one claimed it, and I had no real use for it.

I never understood why everyone wanted to have a pager anyways. I think that a cell phone is much better, in almost every way possible. Meh, it's just me though...
