Just a question about overseas travelling

I'm going to Australia this summer, and I'm wondering if I'll be able to use my cell phone when I'm down there. Will the fees be far too great for me to be able to pay them?

Which carrier are you currently using?

It should work there as well. I am sure the fees would be exhorbitant. You have to check out the exact rates from the support.

I'm with O2 right now. I called them up today but nobody could help me, after leaving me on hold for 20 minutes.

In our country, you have to go to the office of the network provider and request for an international roaming service. What happens afterwards is that those who text you from your base country will be charged as is but it is you when you reply or send a text that is charged more. Guess the point is that, at least you are able to receive all the messages, important or not, don't know actually how it goes in your place but suggest you visit your network provider.

Oh, that's really good! It'd be terrible to get texts and come back home to find a huge phone bill just for having recieved them!

Yeah but I don't think that people texting or ringing you will be too happy with this lovely plan...maybe you might wanna consider informing relative sand friends of extra costs..
