3 Customer "services"

Hello,

I purchased a phone (n73) on the 3 network.

Right from the start there have been problems with the phone - including a battery lihe of less than 24 hours.

3 have consitently stated that they will repair the phone or send me a refurbished phone if it cannot be sorted.

Under the Sale of Goods act I am entitled to have a faulty item replaced. 3 do not seem to recognise this. They keep going on about repair.

I have now cancelled my direct debit with them and told them I will accept an arbitration service to deal with this or that they should seek a legal solution. I have said I will reinstate the direct debit if they replace my phone. Frankly, given the service I have had I would not trust them to say send it back and we will send you a new one for I think they might just go ahead and repair it and send it back. There have been a load of problems - not just the battery problem.

I want to esatblishe whether other people have ha d a similar problem with 3 and had to send a phone back for repair even though they were entitled to a replacement.

Thanks
