Trying to set up Orange top-up

I'm trying to set up my debit card for use with online top-up.

First time I call them, I was cut off mid conversation.
Second time, they said the system was down.
Third time, they asked me: when the phone was activated, what the SIM card number was, what the handset number was. WTF? I have no idea how to get this information, or why it should even be relevant.

I'm not having much luck, and now I'm losing my voice so I can't even speak clearly. They should just have an online form to fill in rather than all this messing about.
