International Calling France - Help
Hi there called my girlfriend from my landline yesterday afternoon to her o2 mobile. Was speaking to her then phone cut out. Have tried calling her since but recorded message is "it has not been possible to connect your call, please try again later". Have been trying since yesterday and same message. o2 have said could be problems with network overseas. Anyone any idea. If it helps any, she has no credit left on her phone. Would this make a difference.

I dont know too much about calling overseas but I would assume if she is out of credit, that is a good reason why you might not be getting through to her. I hope you are able to get a hold of her. Good Luck.

She needs credit for you to call her as she will be paying around 60p per minute for you to call her

if thats the case, she might want to pick up a long distance phone card and use a pay phone or something for a price like that. Im not from the UK but I know 60p is a bit a money to be paying a minute. No wonder she ran out of credit so fast. |

Yup, the networks REALLY make money out of roaming!
The best network to use is vodafone as they offer a service called passport which is where you get to use your allocated "free" minutes to call home and recieve calls when you are abroad! My sister took my phone over to the states for a week as she was going on holiday, she was there for 5 days and I paid O2 £300 for the priviledge! |
