Best 97 Deal On Voda Network?
Hi all this is my 2nd thread so may i say a big hello to you all, the reason ive joined this forum is basically for some advice, I have recently had a raw deal with vodafone, i have been with them 10 years now and last year i was gonna quit but got persuaded to stay and offered a free N95 8GB.
This started playing up recently and i sent it off for a system update, speakers sorted etc etc... it came back with a "water damage" disclaimer - fair enough - but MINUS THE BUTTONS 8 & 0!!!!, After a VERY long talk to vodafone i sent it off again and this time it came back with same letter, the buttons still missing and now no infra red! I called them again and this time after a very long talk i was informed that as my phone was water damaged they were not obliged to replace my missing buttons and infrared - end of story - the phone no longer turns on! I was goin to quit with them and the vodafone quitting lady said she would give me a free N97 on a 12 month contract for £30 on my existing tarrif (600min/600text/£30per month), at the time i declined. 3 weeks on my contract is up and i phoned voda to quit and get my MAC/PAC code -whatever its called- and the lady started to offer me a really good N97 deal when i was cut off, i called back and spoke to a man and he said the best he could do me was unlimited internet, unlimited texts, 600mins @ £34.26 per month on 24months + £100 for the phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!why so different? needless to say i declined. Basically what i would like to know is what is the best deal at the moment for the Nokia N97 on vodafone -i live in an area where it needs to be voda unfortunately, Sorry that this is so long winded its just that i need to get a good deal after all this, i look forward to your swift professional advice, cheers, |

Try asking a customer service team member if any notes had been left on your account to support the deal you were being offered, before the call dropped.
Usually the retention team will leave details to support your renewal etc. The n97 is a fantastic bit of kit and will service every need you will ever want from a handset. Try going into your local vodafone shop to renew your contract in store. Sometimes the manager will give you a good deal if their targets are a little low ! Good luck.

what you find is the up-grades team can offer one thing and the disconnections team can offer a better deal, varying on who you talk to.
