Vodaphne and V3 mobile

Hi

I live in the UK. Can anyone tell me what is the latest Motorola V3.

I am given to understand that here in the UK, the V3i is the latest and the V3x was it's predecessor which is no longer available.

Is this correct.

Also, I live in the in the New Forest in the UK. At present I use Vodafone which provides prety good reception in the Forest. I have never had a bad signal wherever I go on Vodafone.

I am about to change my phone and there are far better offers for the V3i on other networks.
Can anyone in this area suggest an alternative to Vodafone which works in the Forest. I previously was on Orange but the signal in the Forest was non existant in places.

Any help would be much apreciated.
