Sprint beefs up Blackberry lineup with EV-DO
Sprint has announced the all new Blackberry 7130e an EV-DO variant of the 71xx series. The all new Blackberry 7130e features a more phone like design, EV-DO for high-speed data offering average download speeds of 400-700kpbs and up to 2Mbps, Suretype keyboard, Bluetooth, Speakerphone and of course push email.
Sprint also announced the long needed upgrade for their current Blackberry 7250 making all new purchased devices fully EV-DO ready. Customers who already have this model will be able to upgrade their Blackberry to support EV-DO later this year.
