Good Technology to Add iPhone Support to Good for Enterprise

• Good Mobile Control for iPhone streamlines enterprise iPhone deployments
• Provides complete visibility of iPhones deployed within the enterprise
• Simplifies mobile device management across a broad range of devices

CTIA Wireless 2009, Las Vegas, NV, April 1, 2009 —Good Technology today announced the upcoming availability of new iPhone security and device management capabilities in the Good for Enterprise™ 6.0 solution, a core component of Good Works™. iPhone support will be fully integrated with Good Mobile Control, a component of the Good for Enterprise solution, and will provide organizations a single, browser-based console to secure and manage a broad range of mobile devices at any time, from any location.

Streamlined Enterprise iPhone Deployments
A lack of scalable solutions for securing and managing iPhone deployments has created a difficult and ongoing challenge for IT organizations. Current solutions available today often require manual tracking of users and manual distribution of configuration files, which makes device management a labor-intensive and costly process for IT.

“While the iPhone is a popular device for consumers, IT departments have been reluctant to embrace it because of two key issues—security and management,” said Brian A. Bogosian, chairman, CEO and president of Good Technology. “We’re solving that problem by adding iPhone support to our Good for Enterprise 6.0 offering. With Good Mobile Control for iPhone, we’re providing the enterprise with a cost effective way to secure, control and manage a broad range of devices—including the iPhone; thereby, providing greater choice and flexibility.”

Good Mobile Control for iPhone offers one central place to manage and secure iPhones, providing complete visibility of the iPhones deployed within the enterprise. Key capabilities include:

• Over-the-air provisioning of corporate e-mail access
• Configuration and over-the-air distribution of e-mail, WiFi and VPN settings
• Managing and enforcing device password policies
• Enhanced security by restricting corporate e-mail access to only one device
• Remote wipe of device, not just email and PIM data, if it is lost or stolen

Integrated Security and Management for a Broad Range of Devices
Good Mobile Control for iPhone is fully integrated with the Good Mobile Control component of Good for Enterprise 6.0, simplifying the management and security of heterogeneous device environments. From a single, Web-based portal, IT managers have a comprehensive view of an enterprise’s entire mobile deployment, with the ability to drill down into individual devices in granular detail. This is done through a management dashboard that reveals the number of mobile devices by operating system and Good servers. IT managers can also filter users by policies applied to the mobile device, mobile OS or Good server. Once a filtered list is created, bulk actions can be easily applied, such as making policy changes or deploying software. All of this ensures a hassle-free experience for administrators.
