The most annoying time to have a cell phone go off

We all know there's inappropriate times, but what's your least favorite?

I absolutely, above anything else, cannot stand it when I'm in the middle of a speech and a phone goes off. It's worse than everything else, since everyone stops, and it feels awkward.

I once had mine go off four / five times in the middle of a school assembly. The whole assembly went quiet, but since the phone was in my bag (like 20 metres away) nobody knew but it was freaky because I recognised my ringtone.

Oh, me, my mum and dad were at a college meeeting the other week and then it was really quiet, hundreds of people in the room listening to the person doing a presentation, then all of a sudden my mums phone went of and she couldn't get to it from out her bag. It was so funny, everyone turned around and was staring at her for ages.

Its even more annoying when you talk to your client about most important contract and your cell goes off, afterall thats what happened to me today.
I got freaked when that happened.

My phone frequently goes off during the early hours of the morning. People are always calling me while I'm asleep at 3, 4, 5am. I wake up almost every day to my ringtone.

it's not when it goes off that is annoying, it's the peeps with the long, silly SONGS like "Battle Hymn of the Republic" or something like that that just goes on and is ugly to listen to!

Lmao ^^^^

Thats more annoying. I hate sick songs.... and moreover when its caller tune....... Moreover that i have to listen to it and the person doesnt pick up!
How annoying is that?

But you cant also ignore listening, as you have to keep waiting for the other person to pick up!

Sure, having your phone go off during class or in a theater is a pain, but I think that getting a call at a funeral would definitely take the cake

Hear one go off during the Lord's Prayer at church ...that was perhaps the worst one for me. Everyone's head snapped around to see the culprit!
So much for reverence!

Sex.
Honestly.
My ex husband worked as a manager of a security company and, it never seemed to fail, we'd plan a romantic evening and things would be going well when... bing bing bing. Bloody phone.
Of course, I later found out that about 2/3 of those calls were from the co-worker that he was having an affair with, but yeah... Cell phones and Sex just do NOT mix.
Turn them off. LOL
