Unhappy lg chocolate help needed

I am new to this site so i'd like to first say hello to everyone.

I have recently purchased the gorgeous lg chocolate (ebay)
It seems to have developed an annoying problem.
When i am using the phone the touch keys seem to have a mind of their own at times (its not all the time) and brings up menu's i havn't pressed.
It will stop for a bit then start doing it again.
Has anyone any idea what the problem could be and how to sort it?
Someone said it may need re-flashed but i have no idea what that is or how to do it.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

It is when you are using other keys to navigate you may catch and press a key multiple times and it may take a while for it to carry out the request!

Cool

Some of the earlier handsets had this issue.

Have the new firmware put onto the handset.

The only issue I had was when I put my hand around a hot cup of coffee , then after trying to use the touch sensative keys, they went haywire from the heat !! lol.

Seriously tho the handset should not be operating this way and needs attention.

Cool

Good luck.

I just seem to lean towards the seller knew this issue with the handset hence the selling of it !

best advice is to stay clear of auction sites such as e bay as they are peppered with handsets that are faulty or imei locked because the networks have locked them out, or worse shoddy, fake branded handsets sold.

If you want a used handset try sites such as Cex.com who have shops in highstreets where you can view and try out the handset and better they come with a 3 month guarantee !
