Angry the repair cost for my black razor v3
Some of you may remember last week i posted a thread saying id dropped my v3 and cracked the front screen on the flip!! Anyway i went to see how much it would cost to repair on friday and they said to repair the screen it would cost $170 the reason being the front screen on the flip and the inside screen are both joined together so i would have to get both screens renewed and then get a new camera because of the drop damage!!! but i saw the other day in the carphone warehouse theyre selling my phone for $120 so i think im just going to buy a new one what do you guys think?

that's just disgraceful... sounds like they're building them now so that they can't be fixed!

tell me about it! iv desided not to get my phone repaired and to get a new phone its just not worth repairing at that cost!!!

Considering a Razor can be bought for 100$ with a new plan its not worth it.

I think it's part of a master plan - make them totally disposable so if you break it, you have to buy a new one.

i think your exactly right! thay make phones that cannot be repaired then when you have an accident!! they either charge you double to get it repiared or force you to have to buy a new phone!!

That's just insane! I would definately get a new phone (and probably fire off a letter of complaint to the people who make the Razr phones). That's crazy, that they charge so much... I most certainly agree that it sounds like highway robbery; making the phones basically disposable.
