Burning Samsung E900

Hi pretty impressive phone BUT whenever I start using the buttons on the top of the slider eg the direction menu, it gets quite hot

Has anyone else experienced this or should I return it.

Someone has told me that it is because the buttons are being used quite a bit-due to it being so slim-this is why it's heating up!

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Cheers

Kris

Geez. Recalled laptop batteries due to overheating and potential fire hazard, now cell phones that get hot to the touch.

I agree with taiarain, call Samsung and find out. Hot phone can't be good.

That's good news. Did they mention if this was a common problem?

They'll always claim to have never seen it before though! That's kind of scary. Good to hear you got a new phone.

Poppy

Hi

I have a Samsung D830 which is the very slimline phone - it too gets very hot and I was told the same as you regarding the slimness - so far it hasnt affected any quality of the phones ability.

Just couldn't imagine coz if I have this kind of phone, I will really get worried. A common cellphone doesn't heat up just like that so i guess it isn't that natural and it might cause destruction sooner or later. Don't know if this is just ok and it won't cause any harm for the phone in the near future.

The reason it might be getting hot is because the touch-sensitive buttons are heat sensitive! that might be why
