Phones with 2 sim cards

Does anybody here who has a phone with spaces for 2 sim cards, thus, the possibility of having 2 numbers and switching from one to the other. How does it go and for what purpose do you do it?

I've never heard of that, feline. My phone only has one slot for a sim card.

I know of someone who wanted one, but he had to settle for switching sim cards. You can buy a dual (or 3)sim card cover. These are phone specific - so will have to look up one for your phone - just do a dual sim cover search in any search engine.
As for his purpose: put it this way, his (now ex) wife wasn't impressed by it. Although some people would find a use for one if travelling abroad alot and using another countries network.

I'll have to research that as I tend to switch the cards back and forth depending on UK or US use. It would be a lot easier to not have to do that!

I did a little online research on this and, apparently, such thing exists as an add-on to a phone. That said, it was all so complicated that I didn't walk away knowing much more lol.

I have seen this kind from a friend of mine. It had a special battery/casing cover for the 2 sim slots. All he has to do was to switch to line 1 and 2 if he wants to change his numbers.
Sometimes I think that I would like to have one like that, too.

Do you have an unlocked phone or a locked one ? If your phone is locked one, you can't use switch sim cards until you unlock it . If you want to unlock your phone, use unlock code . you can get it from any of the online service providers like Superunlockcodes.com . The purpose of switching sim cards is for your convenience. If you have bad network coverage in one network, you can use another one .
