Talking Backlight on the Nokia 6234

It's my Virgin post!, well not the mobile company anyhow.

I have a problem with the Nokia 6234 thats the same as the 6233 as I understand it.

The back light on the screen keeps going dim after 10 secs or so, making reading text a pain in the rear.

Does anyone know where the option is to increase this?. I have checked all the phone options but no joy still....

HHHHEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! its driving me nuts.!

Thanks people!

I wonder if you visit the nokia site you can get the solution to your problem. Perhaps you can send an email to Nokia asking about it.

This is not a problem with the fone.

Its designed to dim etc after a certain timeout to preserve battery.
ie: A battery saving feature.

a pain in the bum to some I know to keep pressing a button to turn on the light on fully again.

try this

Menu settings (tools then setting depending on which symbian op system) phone, display, should have 'light time out' change to duration you require.
