I have been using my 6230i for over 5months and recently my signal has just been switched off and i cannot use my phone. Does anybody know why this has happened? How could i fix this situation?

Are other fones on the same network holding signal in your are ?

If so and your handset is failing to hold signal anywhere then you will need to book it into a nokia repair service centre.

Some carfone warehouses have this facility. You will have to take the bill of sale with you also.

Your handset will have a limited 2 year warranty so having your handset wont be a problem if its within this time period. This info is valid if your within the uk. If you live elsewhere then please check your own country's warranty smallprint.

Try having the antenna checked, there might also be something wrong with it.

Are others on your network having similar problems? Does this appear to be a phone issue or a service issue? Is your payment current? Has your sim card come loose?
