A good phone for Sat Nav?

Are there any phones out there that will double up as sat nav? Is it possible to get software on any phone that could perform this function?

I have never heard of this but it would probably cost a ton! If it ever comes out it would be pretty much useless unless you get lost.

Sounds very expensive, why would you need so much of it just for your cellular phone?
