New Make Over here

Hi People

My son got a new Phone for christmas and can not get games to fit his screen, I was wondering if anyone has any idea on a compatable phone that's games would work. He got a lobster 544 made by virgin mobile. I know it's not a well known make which is making it hard for me to get any help

could someone explain the diffrent types of java games to me and how to check what version they are if it is a case of diffrent versions of java

Thank you in Advance

Cool

I agree.

Kids want fones for games, music and taking pics.

When I looked for a fone for my daughter her specs she wanted on the fone were ;

Good Camera.
Games and download capability.
MP3 player with good or expandable memory.
Bluetooth feature.
Its got to be pink !

Sounds like a list from an adult eh , well she's 12 !

Standby and calltime, battery life never came into it so actually using the fone to call was a secondry factor.

Even adults I know want to know how many games etc are on the fone to while away the boring bits of the day. When I purchased my Nokia 8800 I even looked to see what games are on it and I dont even play them often.
Im also on the Virgin Network, but did not like the Samsung E900 it came on.

The handset your son chose from Virgin , ie the lobster is not the best for games, as the java feature is somewhat limited. Although even the most expensive , feature packed smartfone handsets will not always intergrate with all games.

Its a bit of trial and error and checking that the game is compatable with the game, which is sometimes made clear in the small print. Make sure you check out the small print also to make sure you dont enter into a contract with download sites as the 1st is free then you start paying a monthly fee to download songs, games etc. Some however are just a pay for what you download, games starting form 4.50 up.

Take care.
